Prepare yourself for a pristine white design, tuxedo-clad waitstaff and views of the Garden of the Gods Pool — Mr Chow now has an opening date at Caesars Palace.
In the works for years, the seventh international location of Michael Chow's namesake culinary empire has taken over the second-floor, 11,583-square-foot former Empress Court location and will begin serving to the public on Saturday, Dec. 19. Reservations are now being taken. If you are feeling lucky, beginning Tuesday, Dec. 15 they will be accepting walk-ins for dinner as they finesse the experience.
Promised menu items include Beijing duck, hand-carved by the chef table side, fried Gambei seaweed and their signature noodles. Designed by Mr Chow himself, the space can accommodate 177 guests, who will be entertained nightly with demonstrations of hand-pulled noodles and a giant ceiling sculpture that "opens and closes with lighting. It keeps on changing not just color but different shapes, so very sculptural."
Continuing a Mr Chow tradition, a "champagne trolley" will slide among diners delivering even more bubbles in addition to a new champagne lounge greeting guests as they arrive.
