Team USA for Bocuse d'Or Set; Crate & Barrel Is on Its Way to Las Vegas

VENETIAN — Team USA for the 2017 Bocuse d'Or was set with chef Mathew Peters and commis Harrison Turone from Per Se in New York taking the win to represent the United States at the biennial culinary competition in Lyon, France. DOWNTOWN SUMMERLIN — Two years ago, Crate & Barrel tested the Las Vegas market with a holiday-themed popup shop at Town Square. Now Las Vegas’ dreams of a Crate & Barrel of its own are about to come true. The home goods and furniture store filed paperwork to start construction on a 25,802-square-foot store in the shopping center just south of Red Rock Resort. So far, the store estimates spending $3,550,000 on construction costs alone, according to paperwork filed with the city of Las Vegas.
