One of the more photogenic residents on the Strip is about to receive a million dollar makeover. The Chandelier Bar at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas turned five years old on Dec. 10 and will soon be renovated and expanded. Current estimated construction costs place the budget at $960,000. Specifics and a timetable for the work have yet to be revealed.

Also new for the resort, a 2,130-square-foot Starbucks will be delivering familiar flavored-caffeine jolts to guests as the Cosmopolitan seeks new ways to lure gamblers back into the building. The coffee vendor has allocated a venti sized, $1,269,656 estimated construction budget for the build as it slots into an "existing tenant space." More details have yet to emerge, but the resort already hosts two locations of its Italian coffee bar, Va Bene Caffè, on the second and casino floor.

Even more changes on the horizon include the arrival of the Clique casino floor lounge from Andy Masi and due any day now, a new sports book in the corner location facing the Strip, the arrival of L.A.'s Eggslut, a remodel of the All Saints retail store, a $750,000 expansion of the Talon Club, a new high-limit slot room next to Clique, New York's Beauty & Essex restaurant and pawn shop, London’s Japanese restaurant Zuma and an outpost of The Juice Standard organic, cold-pressed juice store.
