This should make Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s day. Workers at Trump International Hotel voted to be represented by the Culinary Workers Union Local 226 and the Bartenders Union Local 165. Now more than 500 employees of the hotel are in the union’s bargaining units and were eligible to vote.
Now the hotel needs to respond by negotiating a contract with the employees.
Trump isn’t the first non-gaming hotel to join the union. The Four Seasons, Elara Hilton Grand Vacations and all three Hilton Grand Vacations Suites are part of the union.
