Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar celebrates 30 years in Las Vegas with a wine dinner benefiting the UNLV Foundation. The Friday, Feb. 27, dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. Ferraro’s with an accoglienza (reception), where Prosecco will be served.
Dishes include cioppino with scallops, shrimp, mussels and clams paired with Verdicchio, Casal di Serra, Umani Ronchi; pappardelle cinghiale with wild boar ragu, crispy eggplant and aged pecorino cheese paired with Chianti, Ruffino, Riserva Ducale Oro; risotto Piemontese with braised rabbit and black truffle paired with Barbaresco, Batasiolo; quail stuffed with braised greens and polenta paired with Barolo, Paolo Scavino, Bric del Fiasc ’10; and torta al cioccolato caldo (warm chocolate cake) paired with Marenco, Brachetto.
