André Rochat celebrates his 35th year in Las Vegas with a one-night-only event featuring 16 chefs and a decadent menu. On Sunday, March 29, head to André’s at the Monte Carlo for a dinner prepared by chefs who worked with Rochat during his time in Las Vegas.
Each guest chef has gone on to create kitchens and restaurants of his or her own. Only 120 guests can take part in this event that starts with hors d’oeuvres at 5:30 p.m., and leads to an alternating six course dinner at 6:30 p.m. Every other guest will dine on a completely different six-course meal.
Proceeds from the dinner will be donated to the Friends of James Beard Foundation. Wines paired with each of the courses comes from Southern Wine & Spirits.
Chefs participating include Christopher Bulen of Andre’s Restaurant & Lounge at the Monte Carlo; Mark Purdy of Alizé at the Palms; Tammy Alana of Alizé & Andre’s; Guadalupe "Lupe" Ponce of Alizé; Senma Martinez of Andre’s; Johnny Church of MTO Café; Greg Engelhardt of OfftheGRiD in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; Les Goodman of Goodman’s Jewish Deli & Adafina Culinary in Sonoma County, Calif.; Chris Herrin of CH Hospitality Group in Seattle; Gary FX LaMorte of Michael Mina Group; Arnaud Masset, the vice president of food and beverage at the Palms; Eric Patterson and Jennifer Blakeslee of Cook’s Housein Traverse City, Mich.; Scott Sampson of Scotty’s Kitchen; Josh Smith of Bardot Brasserie at Aria; Florian Wehrli of Triomphe Restaurant in New York City; and Heather Zheng of Shibuya at the MGM Grand.
