The nation's fastest growing build-your-own pizza franchise will debut soon in Henderson, bringing the first of many they hope will land in Las Vegas. Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza is heading to the Horizon Pointe Shopping Center, once home to a Sweet Tomatoes Express. They will be joining Pieology, Project Pie and 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria in the expanding local market for personal choice pies.

Blaze Pizza's concept is to provide each guest with an individual 11 inch, crisp crust pizza, then offer unlimited toppings, all for one price. The pie is then "fast-fire'd" at 800 degrees for 180 seconds. "Signature" pies are available for those who don't want to choose, with options such as the Art Lover, made with "artichokes, mozzarella, ricotta, chopped garlic, red sauce dollops" or the Green Stripe built with "pesto drizzle over grilled chicken, roasted red peppers, chopped garlic."

Also on the simple menu, salads and a single S'more pie dessert.

Created in 2011 by Elise and Rick Wetzel, the familiar name behind Wetzel’s Pretzels, early company investors included LeBron James, Maria Shriver and Boston Red Sox co-owner Tom Werner. Local franchise owners Bryz Guyz LLC describe their expansion approach to Las Vegas as aggressive.

The Henderson location is currently hiring and promises an "coming soon" debut date.
