Marina del Ray and Hermosa Beach's Killer Shrimp will open their first Las Vegas location in Town Square and is already hiring. Just don't expect to learn the heavily guarded secret of their famous spicy sauce.
The service focused, casual restaurant and bar is proud of their staff's "edgy style" and tattoos, plus their menu price point, calculated for guests to enjoy a meal without "the bill coming to a distasteful amount."
While no exact location or timetable for arrival in Town Square has been released, the newly departed Sugar Factory American Brasserie has created a perfect location for a future restaurant tenant.
The family run company's reputation is built on its need-to-know "Killer Shrimp" recipe, preserved by owner Kevin Michaels. Ingredients are hidden and prepared within a "secret spice room," only accessible to one staffer. Then their spicy sauce is simmered for 10 hours, before fresh shrimp is added, cooked quickly and served with sliced French bread for dipping.
Remaining comfort food menu staples includes oysters, surf n turf, steaks, salads, soups, and a signature dessert, the "Killer Shrimp Sweet Potato Pecan Pie served with decadent Chantilly Cream."
