Downtown Summerlin is about to get a taste of Australia’s vision of meat. Down Under concept Ribs & Burgers plans to open its first U.S. location on March 17 at the shopping center.
The restaurant uses Midwestern grain-fed beef, 24-hour marinated free-range chicken, and salmon in its version of burgers. Fan favorites include The Original with R&B special pink sauce, the all-white meat turkey burger, and a salmon burger. The restaurant marinates its ribs and then slow cooks the for eight hours.
The decor here is reminiscent of a butcher shop with custom wooden boards, vintage typography, tile and framed black and white photos of the butchers who inspired the brand. One wall features vintage grinders.
Craft beers such as Brooklyn Brown and Lagunitas a Lil Sumpin Ale, wine on tap and milkshakes including the maple bacon donut and pecan banana split show up on the drinks menu.
Master butcher Sam van Horn heads up this restaurant.
On opening day, be one of the first 100 guests to receive a free burger every week for a year.
Ribs & Burgers will be located at 2010 Festival Plaza Drive in Downtown Summerlin.
