An accessible and visible 3,960-square-foot corner property in Spring Valley proves it's not always easy to gain traction with your target audience in the voluminous Vegas restaurant scene.
In recent years this Durango Plaza location began a culinary journey hosting the all-American Champions Bar & Grill, before it was replaced by Ciao Ciao Apizza Angelato, who survived three years serving pizza and gelato. After another quick Italian visit by the shuttered Don Antonio’s Pizzeria, the dining trip around the world jumped over to Greece to inspire the E & N Family Table Restaurant which debuted in the spot in March 2014.
E & N 's three-meal, family-owned, restaurant received solid reviews for its lasagna, sandwiches, gyros and chicken souvlaki, but only lasted seven months before closing in the fall.
Now comes word, new concept Tequila’s Mexican Restaurant will take over the space, moving the focus south of the border. The new owners have signed a confident five year lease. No further details or opening timetable have been released.
