Who doesn’t love a good secret? Now Interlude, the casino lounge at The Cromwell, has five secret cocktails that you can order — if you’re in the know.
Mixologist Derek Crow created these cocktails, one made of Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans last year.
Azul, a take on the margarita, features Don Julio Blanco tequila, lime juice, Cointreau, agave nectar and muddled blueberries and pepper slices for a kick.
The Interlude, created for Tales of the Cocktail 2014 in New Orleans, uses Grand Marnier Cuvee 1880, Velvet Falernum, Creme de Mure and a splash of honey syrup topped with Moet Chandon Imperial Brut. An orange feather and skewer of blackberries tops it.
Last Night In Vegas has Bombay Sapphire East, Chambord, lemon juice and passion fruit juice for a sweet and tart combination.
Tonight's Crush combines Plymouth Dry Gin, Velvet Falernum, St Germain Elderflower liquor, apple juice, lime juice and lime bitters for a citrus and floral concoction.
Finally the Reminiscence uses Blanton's Bourbon, lemon, Velvet Falernum and basil leaves. Guests choose whether they want blackberries, blueberries or raspberries.
