DOWNTOWN — MTO Café throws its next Sunday Night Supper Series dinner with a Korean Brasserie theme on April 19. The event brings in guest chefs and along with MTO chefs to put together a dinner about once a month. Eduardo “Lalo” Saavedra and Johnny Church of MTO Café, Daniel Ontiveros of Comme Ca, Brian Howard of Grazing Pig Food Group, Brian Lhee of Yusho and newcomers Ashley Traeger and Meilani Marriott of Hapa Sweetery cook. TIVOLI VILLAGE — Made LV throws a Spring Fling Cornhole Tournament and Tailgate Grill Out on Saturday, April 11, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $20 per team here. The restaurant also serves up sausages with peppers and onions, street-made corn, grilled smoked wings, garlic parmesan fries and fried Oreos on the patio. Drink specials include two cans of tall PBR for $5, $3 Fireball shots and Deep Eddy Backyard Lemonade for $5 a cup. [EaterWire]
