Praying there is demand for even more burger options on the Strip, the latest patty purveyor at the Venetian's Grand Canal Shoppes is inspired by a shuttered 74-year-old Manhattan landmark diner.
Newcomer Primeburger aims to distance itself from their considerable competition, including rival Johnny Rockets located a few steps further into the food court, by serving "boutique burgers, crafted fries, spirits & shakes."
The 1,030-square-foot restaurant starts their menu with salads, buffalo wings, a $9 panko-encrusted onion ring tower and a $9 nacho platter.
Their burgers are created with prime rib and chuck loin ground on premises and the choice of an "Artisan Bricohe or whole wheat bun." Priced between $10 and $16, the roster includes the "Fungus Humongous" made with portobello, Swiss cheese, grilled onions and mayo, the "Hawaii Five Ohhhhh" created with Swiss cheese, coleslaw, pineapple, onion relish and teriyaki mayo and the "Oink, Squeal and Moo," which adds "pulled pork, bacon, cheddar, onion straws, BBQ and mayo."
Sandwiches like mahi-mahi, turkey or chicken are also available and a handful of vegetarian options like a vegan boca burger. Alcohol enhanced milkshakes include the "candied bacon double rye" for $14, vodka S'mores and and the "rum banana cream pie."
Current hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m daily and until midnight on Friday and Saturday.
