While CREAM seems like just an ice cream shop, its motto of "Cookies Rule Everything Around Me" places the emphasis on the cookies end of the business. The new CREAM at Downtown Summerlin opened on Saturday with three-block long lines waiting for free cookie ice cream sandwiches.
Start by choosing a cookie in flavors such as white chocolate macadamia, peanut butter, butter sugar, lemon heaven or snickerdoodle. Then pick an ice cream flavor such as peanut butter twist, cup of joe, green tea or caramel cinnamon chill. Toppings here include sprinkles, peanuts, chocolate chips, graham crackers, cherries and M&Ms. The sandwiches alone go for $3.99.
Vegan cookies in banana walnut chocolate chip and snickerdoodle, cream sundaes with a cookie or brownie, milkshakes, floats and the cream taco also make the menu. Seasonal favorites include red velvet cookies, a red velvet waffle cone and a red velvet taco shell are also available.
