Shuttered barely a month, the almost naked dancers at Caesars Palace's Shadow Bar will be replaced by a new Hakkssan Group ultra lounge and the company has already revealed an opening date.
As rumored, Vista Cocktail Lounge will be be run and conceptualized by Hakkasan, operating a space located next door to Nobu Caesars Palace. Caesars Palace president Gary Selesner confirmed the name to the Las Vegas Sun's John Katsilometes, helping connect the dots of a Caesars trademark application made earlier this month. While Hakksasan will be in charge, Caesars owns the Vista Cocktail Lounge name.
Selesner confidently told The Katz Report, opening night will be May 15. Construction on the 4,585-square-foot lounge is well underway, obvious to any visitors to the casino floor. The estimated construction budget is $1,900,000, but no solid details on the interior design have yet been announced.
This won't be this first Vista Lounge found in a casino. Connecticut's Mohegan Sun also hosts a lounge with the same name, but has no connection to this project.
