Rumors about the closing of Comme Ça, the French bistro at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, are coming true. The restaurant will shutter on March 31.
Cosmopolitan confirms the closing with a statement: "The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas announces the closure of Comme Ça on March 31.We would like to thank the entire team for their hard work and commitment over the past five years at the resort. Guests who have questions regarding reservations at Comme Ça should call 877.667.0585. We are constantly looking to add unique and compelling experiences to the resort and will be announcing an exciting concept over the next several months in the former Comme Ça space."
Comme Ça opened under chef David Myers with Brian Howard in the kitchen. Myers left the company last June to open his own concepts. Howard departed in December to launch his Grazing Pig Food Group with Corey Nyman with two restaurants opening in the Arts District in the fall — Harvest & Larder — Honest American Cookery & Libations and Grazing Pig Charcuterie.
Comme Ça has an amazing cocktail program, an in-house charcuterie program and a great brunch too, all worthy of checking out before the end of the month.
Long-standing rumors from multiple sources say that Beauty & Essex from the Tao Group is the most likely restaurant to take over the space.
This is the first restaurant to close at the resort since its 2010 opening.
