Much-admired Indian restaurant Mantra Masala, is expanding 22 miles north to Centennial for their second location. Currently housed in Spring Valley with room for 85, chef Tapan Bose's personal mantra is to create healthy dishes combined with a professional motto of "everybody is a GUEST not a Customer!"
Removing oil and substituting with vegetable purees and spices, chef Bose's menu includes popular items such as samosa, mussel masala, meats from his tandoor oven and a roster of vegetarian dishes.
The new 1,200-square-foot location at the Durango Square retail center will take over the shuttered Sassy Sal's BBQ space and sit a few doors down from neighborhood fixture Retro Bakery. No timetable for completion has yet been announced.
