DOWNTOWN — The Venue Las Vegas plans to be up and running soon and already booked a winemaker dinner on Thursday, May 7, with the Connoisseur Club and Wente Vineyards of Livermore, Calif. Chef Matt Contreras of The Venues Group is creating the four-course menu that includes a seared diver scallop appetizer, cast iron Scottish salmon salad, an entrée course of Moroccan spiced lamb chops, and Tahitian vanilla bean goat cheese cake for dessert.
