Burger Bistro just missed out on its two-year anniversary by shuttering at the Westgate Las Vegas. New signage advises guests to head over to the recently debuted Sid's Cafe for their burger fix.
The bistro's closure paves the way for the soon to arrive Edge Steakhouse, who's footprint will cover the adjacent and soon-to-shutter TJ's Steakhouse. Expanding from the Westgate Park City Resort & Spa in Utah, Edge Steakhouse had promised to arrive in Las Vegas this month, but is now promoting an April debut. The steakhouse prides itself on "top-quality Prime Aged Beef, Wagyu Beef, wild caught fresh fish and seafood."
As Eater Vegas predicted last December, further dining upgrades to Westgate Las Vegas include the arrival of the under construction, but yet to be announced Modo Mio Ristorante Italiano. Earlier this month, 888 Noodle Bar was re-branded as Silk Road Noodle Bar, located inside the resort's Benihana Village Asian-themed dining district. More casual fare will be served at a new organic cafe near the hotel's pool deck created with input from performer Suzanne Somers, who begins a residency on May 23.
And later in the year, a new, 40-foot sports bar, Draft's Sports Bar & Grill, will debut alongside a dramatic makeover of the Westgate's famed and enormous sports book, set to add a "3-level stadium experience" featuring "VIP Race seating and comfortable lounge seating."
