Tampa Bay-based homage to fried chicken PDQ already opened its first location in North Las Vegas earlier this month, and now the chain that plans to open 40 new restaurants nationwide in the next year started construction on a second Las Vegas spot. PDQ already broke ground at 3010 W. Sahara Ave. and anticipates a summer opening.
The 4,400-square-foot lot on the corner of Craig Road and Allan Lane in North Las Vegas features a drive thru and a focused menu based around crispy chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches and salads. All items are made with fresh ingredients and no red meat is in sight.
Created by former Outback Steakhouse co-founder Bob Basham and Nick Reader, former CFO of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the chain attempts to bring an upscale casual dining feel to the quick dining experience with decor and customer service seen as a high priority.
The company name is abbreviated from "pretty darn quick," or "people dedicated to quality," depending on your point of view.
