Searsucker
Address: Caesars Palace, 3570 Las Vegas Blvd. S.
Phone: 702-866-1800
Status: Opens at 4:30 p.m.
The long-awaited Searsucker from former Top Chef finalist and The Taste host Brian Malarkey brings his social dining experience to Caesars Palace starting tonight. Malarkey brings his New American classic cuisine, hand-crafted cocktails and craft beers. Highlights from the menu include spicy shrimp and grits, a 38-ounce tomahawk ribeye and squid with “sweet heat.”
Malarkey brought chef de cuisine Jean Paul Labadie on board. The former Todd English P.U.B. executive chef has more than 20 years of experience.
With its connection with parent company Hakkasan Group and proximity to Omnia Nightclub at the resort, expect some promotions and hours to coincide with that nightclub aura. For example, starting on Tuesday, April 7, Searsucker has “A lot of Malarkey” Tuesday industry nights.
The restaurant plans to be open Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 to 11 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays through Sundays from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. After 11 p.m., land late-night bar bites until “late.”
Happy hour is also on the agenda Mondays through Fridays from 4:30 to 6 p.m. with draft beers, cocktail specials and house-made infusions for $5 to $11 and half-priced small bites.
