Waiting for Las Vegas Restaurant Week? You’ll have to wait until June. The event that benefits Three Square Food Bank merges its spring and fall events for the first time since 2011 with special menus June 15-26.
"This year by concentrating Las Vegas Restaurant Week into a single event spanning 12 days, our goal is to unify the culinary community and maximize restaurant participation, giving locals and visitors a greater opportunity to taste all that our Valley has to offer," says Brian Burton, president and CEO of Three Square, in a press statement.
To refresh, restaurants participating in Las Vegas Restaurant Week offer prix-fixe menus covering breakfast, lunch and/or dinner at price points ranging from $20.15 to $50.15. A fixed portion of the meal’s cost gets donated to Three Square.
Last year, Mesa Grill at Caesars Palace earned the Gold Plate donor award from Three Square Food Bank for the fall and spring versions of Las Vegas Restaurant Week. Mesa Grill sold 1,614 Restaurant Week covers in the fall and 1,732 covers in the spring translating to a $16,730 donation in 2013 or nearly 51,000 meals for Southern Nevada.
