The second local Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has debuted in the shadow of Sunset Station, serving their signature burgers and fries within a concept that makes a nostalgic nod to diners of yore.
Freddy's already operates a branch on Eastern, close to Freed's Bakery. In 2012 the company announced plans for an eventual eight locations in Las Vegas.
The 3,596-square-foot building can seat 98, serving their namesake steakburgers, frozen custard concretes and sundaes, Chicago dogs, patty melts and fries cooked with "Freddy's Famous Fry Seasoning." A large frozen cone sign has been attached to the side of the former Fazoli's casual Italian restaurant and the company's distinctive red and white color scheme has taken over the interior and exterior design.
Freddy's likes to project a clean-cut image, promoting customer service, hard work, positive attitudes and hires with a "strict policy against having facial hair, visible tattoo(s) and any visible piercing(s.)" The company's namesake is decorated World War II veteran, Freddy Simon, father of the Freddy's CEO Bill Simon.
The Henderson location comes with a drive-thru, patio seating and opening hours are daily from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
