Want to work under a top chef in Las Vegas? MGM Resorts has a gig for you.
The Culinary Associates Program gives chefs with a year of resort experience and three years as a lead cook under their belts a chance to train under an executive chef at Bellagio, Aria, the Mirage, Mandalay Bay and other MGM properties.
Those who land one of these positions earn a full-time paid position for one year starting July 15.
Monthly rotations in different kitchen environments covering production, high-volume and fine dining are part of the gig, as are special events, mentorship from property executive chefs, classroom training, and more.
Participants of the Culinary Associates Program have worked with Charlie Palmer of Aureole, Roy Ellamar of Sensi and Matthias Merges of Yusho.
The deadline to apply for the program is Friday, April 10.
