Move over Breakfast at Tiffany's, Bally's Las Vegas is hoping breakfast at Buca di Beppo will become a Vegas attraction for very hungry and over-indulgent patrons.
The under construction, 7,557-square-foot Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant replaces the shuttered Sidewalk Cafe and Tequila Bar in the far corner of the casino floor, already home to BLT Steak and Sea: The Thai Experience.
Known for their family style, over-sized portions, Buca di Beppo will serve their familiar full breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, plus the bonus of all-you-can-eat breakfast and lunch buffets. The Italian restaurant chain operates on the mezzanine level of the Excalibur and two off-Strip locations, but this will be their first local buffet, a concept they've tested at their Bally's Atlantic City outpost.
While Buca slots into the Sidewalk Cafe footprint, the former Tequila Bar will be filled by another new arrival, the Tequila Taqueria. Yet to be officially announced by Bally's, plywood promises the restaurant will feature Mexican beers and tequilas and be open from noon to 6 a.m. The all-night bar sits across from the recently shuttered Liaison Nightclub space.
Construction began the first week of February, but both restaurants are pegged as "coming soon."
