How To Score 10 Tax Relief Deals at the Rio

The resort has $10.99 specials as an ode to your 1099 forms and $20.14 deals to honor 2014.

Have you finished your taxes? You deserve a deal. Starting on Wednesday, April 15, some of the restaurants at the Rio serve up “Tax Relief” specials through April 19. All-American Bar & Grille, Carnival World Buffet, Martorano’s, VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub, VooDoo Steak and Hash House A Go Go all have specials priced at $10.99 and $20.14 as an ode to the 1099 form for the 2014 tax year.

The deals:

All-American Bar & Grille has the $10.99 cocktail called The Tax Man, made from Amaretto, peach Schnapps, Malibu Rum, orange juice and sour. It’s also serving up a $20.14 Thai beef salad with a six-ounce flat iron, iceberg lettuce mixed with romaine, tomato, cucumber, red onion, mint, cilantro and Thai salad dressing, made from fish sauce, dry chili and lime.

Carnival World Buffet is serving up $10.99 bottles of Trinity Oaks wine. Options include chardonnay, pinot grigio and pinot noir.

Martorano’s has a $10.99 cocktail, the Philly Smash, made with Rye whiskey, Amaro Averna, blueberries, raspberries and lime. Guests can also get a $20.14 South Philly cheese steak bruschetta with caramelized onions and American cheese on a toasted baguette and topped with a fried egg.

VooDoo Rooftop Nightclub is serving up a $10.99 The Color of Money cocktail with Skyy vodka, Midori, apple pucker and sour.

VooDoo Steak has the $10.99 The Income Tax Cocktail, made with Bombay gin, dry and sweet vermouth, orange juice and bitters. Also nab a $20.14 chilled Maine lobster with citrus bloody Mary and pickled heirloom beets.

Hash House a Go Go serves up its house bloody Mary at a special $10.99 price and a $20.14 “Twisted” surf and turf with blackened steak and skewered shrimp served with griddled mashed potatoes and corn on the cob.
