Yolös Mexican Grill is to receive a surprise makeover at Planet Hollywood Resort as the resort continues to refresh its dining options.
The resort allocated $200,000 for estimated construction costs to give the colorful bar and grill some extra space and also replace the seating booths and many of the current finishes. Currently the 4,572-square-foot grill can seat 60 guests in the lounge and 120 in the dining room.
Debuting on Dec. 30, 2007, the self-described "glamorous Mexican playground" has proven a popular tourist destination for its well advertised drink, happy hour and late-night specials.
The home of the "Margarona" cocktail, a margarita served with a "Coronita," a 7-ounce mini bottle of Corona balanced on the side of the glass, the bar and restaurant is run by the Las Vegas division of nationwide operators Ark Restaurants, the team behind a hefty chunk of the dining options at New-York New-York and V Bar at the Venetian.
No construction timetable or notice of a temporary shutter has been announced.
