Ginseng Korean BBQ II at 3765 Las Vegas Blvd. S. came within one point of being shut down by the Southern Nevada Health District after a routine inspection on Tuesday, April 14.
Inspectors issued a 40-demerit grade after finding that the staff didn’t properly wash their hands, food was unprotected from potential contamination, thermometers were inaccurate, pest were infesting the restaurant and more.
This isn’t the first time Ginseng Korean BBQ has received a queasy grade. Three other times the restaurant earned C grades since health inspections started there in 2008.
The Southern Nevada Health District routinely shuts down restaurants that receive more than 40 demerits. Restaurants have the option of requesting a re-inspection before the next scheduled inspection.
