Further Future, a music festival at the Moapa River Indian Reservation north of Las Vegas, comes May 1-3 with more than just music from acts such as Brett Rubin, Desert Sound Colony and Foreign Fields but an interesting food and beverage program.

A 24-hour restaurant, grocery store and craft bar will offer festival-goers food and drinks for three days straight. A private pop-up dinner on a cliffside location features fare from Sam Marvin of Echo & Rig. And Jolene Mannina’s Relish curates the food.

Josh Clark’s The Goodwich serves gourmet hot dogs and popcorn, as well as breakfast dishes such as hangover broth, smoked salmon wraps and granola.

Chris Palmeri of Naked City Pizza Shop is serving up chicken in red pumpkin seed sauce, pork tinga, braised carne asada, red rice and salsa Mexicana from his former Desnudo Tacos.

Also find poutine with vegan curds and organic fries and Johnny McGuire's Deli with sandwiches.

The pop-up dinner on Saturday, May 2, features dishes from Marvin for $80 per person with an optional wine pairing for $30 per person. Dishes, served family-style, include grilled Spanish octopus, a pink snapper ceviche and Santa Barbara black mussels for starters; salads with roasted golden beets and purple lollipop kale, heirloom red faro with black quinoa and wheat berries and Chino Ranch tomatoes with English cucumbers and Coleman Farms red and yellow watermelon. Entrees include an Aka Ushi cattle tomahawk chop, Snake River wagyu steak, Painted Hills New York strip, slow-roasted Kurabuta pork shoulder, whole roasted chicken and sea bass. For dessert, blueberry hemp seed cobbler, blue bottle espresso sundaes and a salted caramel bar.

Jeremie Kittredge from The Idea Collective out of New York City curates the cocktail program, where you can "Detox while you Retox." Find a wine bar, mezcal bar, juice bar and Makers & Finders coffee.
