Now chef Rick Moonen can add a beer to his list of accomplishments. The chef behind RM Seafood and Rx Boiler Room at Mandalay Place collaborated with CraftHaus Brewery on a specialty beer.
Moonen wanted to add an exclusive beer from CraftHaus Brewery that would complement the seafood on his menus.
Head brewer Steve Brockman worked on a Belgian Wit style of beer, and Moonen brought locally sourced flowers, herbs and botanicals from Desert Bloom Eco farms to infuse in the beer. The beer should be ready to taste in about four weeks, when it will be named.
Find CraftHaus Brewery’s beers on tap at both of Moonen’s restaurants, where they are also infused into dishes.
Moonen also plans to have a beer pairing dinner with the brew once he's tasted it.
