Fight week mania means the Las Vegas Strip will be packed this weekend, and now restaurants are getting in on the fun as well. The dining venues at the Mirage came up with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao themed dishes to get diners in the mood for the boxing bout. Here’s a look at some of the dishes, and cocktails, you can find at the Mirage.
MayPac Reuben Burger at Carnegie Deli for $17.99
Carnegie Deli already has monster-sized portions. Now the MayPac Reuben Burger tops a patty of lean ground beef with a tower of pastrami, melted Swiss cheese and sauerkraut on grilled rye bread. Add fries and a soda for $2 more.
The Knockout Roll at Japonais for $24
Japonais’ boxing-inspired roll delivers a spice snow crab roll with seared Wagyu beef. But the knockout blow comes from jalapeño salsa and ponzu sauce toppings.
Mayweather Split Lip Bloody for $15 and Pacquiao Punch Out for $17 at Samba
The Brazilian steakhouse at picked a fight with two dueling cocktails. The Split Lip Bloody adds beer into the classic bloody Mary and then garnishes it with pretzel sticks, pickles and olives. The Punch Out delivers tropical flavors in a punch that can knock you out.
The Porterhouse Brawler at Tom Colicchio’s Heritage Steak for $160
Colicchio’s steak for two comes with crab, Hollandaise sauce and asparagus. You’ll fight for the last bite.
TMT (Tender Meat and Tail) at Portofino by Chef Michael LaPlaca for $125
This decadent dish is an ode to The Money Team, Mayweather’s posse of friends and hangers on. Portofino’s version serves up an eight-ounce filet mignon with a 10-ounce lobster tail prepared Milanese-style.
Fight Club Sandwich at Pantry for $16
Mirage’s 24-hour restaurant features fried chicken, maple-cured bacon, Sriracha aioli, Swiss cheese, lettuce and tomato on a sesame bun.
