The Ferraro family spent the past eight years planning their new fast-casual pizza restaurant Pizza Forte. Today the family behind Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar debuts the restaurant with a name that loosely translates to “powerful pizza” at Sunset Station in Henderson. The walk-up concept will offer to-go items and room service at the resort as well.
Look for a New York-style pizza as well as a square, Roman-style pan pizza by the slice with toppings including homemade sausage and vegetables. Gluten-free options also make the menu, along with Italian soft drinks, cannolis and tiramisu. Guests can order meatball sandwiches and three varieties of Hofmann hot dogs in 100 percent beef, pork-and-beef and pork-and-veal varieties, the only place to land these dogs in Vegas.
A second Pizza Forte is already in the works at the Hard Rock Hotel.
