Downtown Summerlin, your Shake Shack dreams are coming true. Today the burger joint with a cult following announced plans to open at the shopping center just south of Red Rock Resort in 2016.
Shake Shack plans to move into the “Dining Arroyo” section of the mall, near Crave, MTO Cafe, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill and California Pizza Kitchen.
No word yet on whether the second location in Las Vegas will have a special concrete like the New York-New York location, but fans can expect all other shack faves at the new spot.
Last month, rumors of a second location shook the concrete in Las Vegas.
Shake Shack opened its first location west of the Mississippi River at the end of 2014 at New York-New York. The East Coast burger kingdom joins a crowded burger market at the Summerlin shopping center that already hosts Red Robin, Five Guys Burgers & Fries and the newly opened Ribs & Burgers.
