They said it wouldn't be fancy and new plans prove them right. Replacing shuttered Uncle Joe's Pizza and Kabob Korner, Fremont East's Flippin' Good Burgers and Shakes will feature a walk up counter, enough seating for 44 and beer and wine on the menu.
The long skinny dining section will fill 1,480 of the total 2,776-square-foot space. With a familiar fast food layout, guests entering the burger bar through wide double doors can choose to eat at one of the four booths, seven tables or at counters, including seven seats facing the open kitchen prep station.
Owners Andrew Donner of Resort Gaming Group and Keith Grossman of the Triple George Grill explained to DTLV, the decor will be "a modern farmhouse interior, very bright and clean." On the menu, burgers, sliders, chicken and turkey sandwiches. All can be complemented by custard shakes and craft beers.
Flippin' Good is expected to meet a promised early summer, debut date. New next door neighbor The Smashed Pig will remain under construction until a little later in the season.
