Yes, you can bring your dog to the patio at the new Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar with its canine-centric decor at Downtown Summerlin. But there are rules.

1. You can’t put your dog on the table. Or your lap. Or on a chair. Even if it’s tiny. Blame the Southern Nevada Health District for that.

2. You can’t let your dog beg, bark or bite.

3. Lazy Dog servers will not be minding your pooch, let alone petting him.

4. Dogs have to be on a leash.

5. Canines cannot eat off of your plate. They get their own bowls.

6. But they do get their own bowl of water.

7. They can also get food. A plate of plain brown rice for your pup for $1.95.

8. A grilled hamburger patty with brown rice goes for $4.95.

9. For the same price, your canine friend can eat a chicken breast with brown rice.
