Beer lovers, Mandalay Bay has another brew-centric event on the horizon, this time celebrating International Space Day. The Ninkasi Space Oddity Ball: Ground Control Imperial Stout Release Party, on Friday, May 1, at 8 p.m. at Eyecandy Sound Lounge brings a night of Ninkasi Brewing Co. and the resort’s director of food and beverage and Nevada’s first female cicerone Sarah Johnson together.
Ninkasi Brewing CEO Nikos Ridge and Johnson plan to talk about the beer, bring tasting notes and reveal how the beer was made with fermented ale yeast sent to space.
Everyone receives a 22-ounce commemorative bottle packaged and designed by artist and illustrator Neal Williams.
And Ninkasi’s newest beer is not the only brew on the agenda. Lux Lager, Spring Reign Pale, Dawn of the Res IRA and Total Domination IPA will all be available,
It wouldn’t be a party without costumes, and guests are encouraged to dress in space-themed duds.
Vokab Kompany of San Diego and Haunted Summer of Los Angeles entertain.
Tickets for this event are priced at $60 per person here.
