Want to buy equipment from the now-shuttered Riviera? Everything is up for grabs during the $3 million liquidation sale that starts on Thursday, May 14, at 9 a.m. and runs until everything is gone, gone, gone. The Riviera closed on May 4 after gracing the Las Vegas Strip for 60 years.
Of interest to restaurants, the commercial kitchen equipment that includes both floor and table top Hobart mixers, reach in coolers, freezers in all sizes, pots and pans, ice machines in all sizes, stock pots and items from the bakery and meat shop from the more than 100,000 square feet of kitchens.
Also on the sales block — items from the 2,075 guest rooms, gaming tables and more from the casino floor, and bar and restaurant decor.
Shoppers pay $10 admission during the first four days of the sale. Everything is already tagged and prices, and all items are sold as is. Plus the buyer has to remove purchases from the Riviera. National Content Liquidators, which is in charge of the liquidation sale, tacks on 10 percent to the purchase price. Get everything while its hot.
