Inka Grill, the Peruvian and Chinese restaurant at 9400 S. Eastern Ave., was shut down by the Southern Nevada Health District after a 50-demerit inspection on Tuesday, May 12.
Inspectors found staff not properly washing their hands, spoiled food, food unprotected from potential contamination and more during the routine inspection.
Inka Grill demerits
Inka Grill was last shut down by SNHD in 2005 with 49 demerits.
The Southern Nevada Health District routinely shuts down restaurants that receive more than 40 demerits. Restaurants have the option of requesting a re-inspection before the next scheduled inspection.
