Max Solano announces that Friday is his last day at Delmonico Steakhouse at the Venetian, where he was the mixologist and beverage manager since 2009. Solano made Delmonico into a whiskey haven with more than 500 whiskeys on the menu, including just about every variation of Pappy's imaginable, plus his own secret menu of cocktails, only available when he was working.
Solano came to Emeril Lagasse's steakhouse six years ago after working at Table 10 and handling the cocktail program at both restaurants. But he really got into mixology at Emeril's in Orlando. "They really liked what I was doing with their program there. I wanted to stake a claim in setting up their first mixology program."

Taking his place, Juyoung Kang, who most recently was most recently the lead bartender at BLVD Cocktail Co. at the Linq. She made her name as the bartender behind Commonwealth’s speakeasy The Laundry Room and got her start at Comme Ça at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
