They've only been serving in Downtown Summerlin since December, but Rice Republic is already feeling confident enough to expand to two other shopping and dining destinations.
The Taiwan-, Hong Kong- and China-inspired concept will debut at the Galleria at Sunset in late summer. The menu is promised to include "dumplings, a large selection of noodle soups, dry noodle dishes, fried rice, wok-tossed vegetables and dessert." No word yet if they will bring the dim sum carts they introduced into Summerlin.
A date has not been revealed for their third location, destined for the Miracle Mile Shops, but the company says it is "coming soon." Rice Republic is an off-shoot of Rice & Co. at the Luxor, which has been serving since 2011 and features a sushi bar and their twist on Japanese and Chinese cuisine.
Rice Republic joins the newly expanded dining options at the Galleria mall, set to include the debut of Bravo Cucina Italiana on May 28, Gen Korean BBQ in late summer, and Larsen's Grill by June 1. A full-service Sugar Factory restaurant has paused construction and is now scheduled to arrive later in the year.
