Alain Ducasse hinted that miX Restaurant and miX Lounge at the Delano Las Vegas would probably close in June to make way for the renovations that will bring Rivea to the resort in October. Now the restaurant and lounge has a closing date. Get up to the 64th floor before June 1 to dine and drink in one of the best views of the city.

Rivea brings a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant from Ducasse, as well as a "sophisticated" new lounge experience.

The first Rivea location is within the Byblos Saint-Tropez hotel and Rivea London debuted last year at the Bulgari Hotel. Rivea promises to "feature the flavors and colors of the Riviera in a smart, vibrant and casual setting."

In France, Rivea serves a menu of shared appetizers such as caponata, rock octopus salad, sardines comfit in basil, chick pea and sheep curd soup, and entrees such as swordfish steak and panisses, sautéed gamberoni, John Dory and hand-made pasta with clams. Desserts include the location inspired "Tarte Tropezienne accompanied by a citrus zest jus."

The Saint-Tropez incarnation features coral, terra cotta and aubergine bayadère textiles, "irregularly striped booths, bright and contrasting tones blend with the warm lighting in the room and to the large lanterns designed by Antonio Citterio." The mood is described as a "vibrant and refined atmosphere," while the table settings are "soberly tinted in simple shades of blue and white."

Among miX's numerous awards it was voted "Best Restaurant" by the Travel+Leisure Design Awards in 2006 and received a Michelin star in both 2008 and 2009.
