Le Cirque decided to cave to requests for one expensive dish on the menu at the 17-table Bellagio location, and “As an audacious joke, executive chef Wilfried Bergerhausen made an over-the-top addition to the menu,” Forbes reports. This is not your everyday surf-and-turf.

The $325 dish dubbed the “Ultimate” surf-and-turf features Japanese kobe steak with a perigourdine sauce topped with foie gras and shaved truffles. That’s not all. It comes with a two-pound butter-poached Maine lobster tail in a lobster sauce, topped with lobster caviar and edible 24-karat gold leaf. But there’s more. On the side, Le Cirque has bone marrow with a deep fried potato fondant.
The first night on the menu, the restaurant sold nine dishes. A waiter told Forbes that one guest ordered the dish 20 times.
General manager Ivo Angelov says the dish is no longer on the regular menu but it is available most days by request.
