Weiner alert, the Pebble Marketplace in Henderson will soon be home to a new twist on the humble hot dog. The Steamie Weenie will take over a 1,245-square-foot space at the retail center, replacing a former Josie's Frozen Yogurt.
On the menu, the company already promises tater tots, floats, bacon jam, deep fried pickles, bacon-wrapped onion rings and vintage sodas like Cheerwine and Dad's.
The main attraction will be the hot dogs, like the Maxwell St. featuring "Polish sausage, griddled onions, ballpark mustard and fiery sport peppers" or the Mt. Fuji created with "chicken sausage, sesame-Teriyaki griddled onions, carrots, scallions, nori, wasabi mayo."
The Mile High Salute is expected to arrive with "Colorado style green chile, caramelized sweet onions, shredded Monterey Jack cheese and cool sour cream" and for a more traditional summer flavor, they will be serving up a "pretzel roll, beer steamed bratwurst, smoky horseradish, ballpark mustard."
The weenies are aiming to start smoking this June.
