Bally’s Las Vegas has a couple updates on two of its new restaurants opening this summer. Apparently the Buca di Beppo restaurant going in the resort is now called Buca Café Italiano, and touts serving a breakfast and lunch buffet.
Also planned, the Pope Room found at many other Buca di Beppo’s and guests staying at the resort can order room service from the restaurant. Dishes include half-pound meatballs, lasagna, veal parmesan and spicy chicken rigatoni.
Tequila Taqueria plans to open at the same time, bringing Mexican dishes with a backdrop of "revolución imagery, vintage tortillia presses and other interesting cultural icons." Find 37 tequilas and 10 Mexican beers at the bar and corn and flour tortillas used with tacos, enchiladas, fajitas and tortas as well as guacamole made at the table.
Tequila Taqueria plans to be open from noon to 6 a.m.
Both are owned by Planet Hollywood International Inc. and hiring up to 150 new employees in anticipation of an early summer opening.
