Just when you were thinking you didn’t have enough Megan Romano in your life she teams up with her husband Joseph Romano and Kim Canteenwalla and Elizabeth Blau at Made LV for a dining extravaganza.
Romano, the genius behind Chocolate & Spice Bakery, and her husband Joseph of PT’s Entertainment Group, met while they worked at Aureole together. On Tuesday, June 9, the power culinary couple take over the Tivoli Village restaurant for a dinner showcasing the flavors of early summer.
The 6:30 p.m. dinner features passed Shake N’ Bake shrimp with a trio of sauces, oven-roasted pork belly with a bing cherry puree, and charcoal-grilled quail with a Valencia orange barbecue sauce, all paired with the Deep Eddy South Side Grey Hound with Eddy grapefruit vodka, soda water, lime juice and salted candied lime.
An early summer salad with Meyer lemon vinaigrette, heirloom tomato, peach and frisee follows. The main course is an applewood bacon-wrapped chicken thighs with creamy polenta and toasted garlic brocollini. For dessert, petite seasonal pies with ice cream and sorbet and dark chocolate pops.
The dinner starts at $39 per person at 702-722-2000.
Made LV also brings in chef Benoit Cornet and mixologist James Starkus from Southern Wine & Spirits for a guest chef dinner on Wednesday, June 24, at 6:30 p.m.
