Heather Zheng gets in on the special dinners when she turns Shibuya at the MGM Grand into a Tokyo street food destination for one night. Zheng’s Shibuya Street Tasting on Thursday, June 18, from 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. features entertainment, food and sake from Southern Wine & Spirits.

Guests are even asked to dress in cosplay mimicking their favorite character from any movie, TV series, book, comic book, video game or band.

The night includes a teppanyaki action station, sushi experts dispensing rolling techniques and flavor combination tips and a sushi demonstration.

As for the menu, find salmon poke on crispy crostini, takoyaki with ginger and kewpie, beef yakisoba, chicken kushiyaki, Kurobuta sausage buns, and karaage chicken and tofu.

TY KU, SakéOne, World Sake Imports, Gekkeikan and Takara will be on hand, as well as Asahi Black, a Japanese dark beer brewed from three types of dark roasted malt, giving it three distinct flavors.

The Shibuya Street Tasting is priced at $44.14 per person. For tickets, head here.
