Upgrades to local and off-Strip casinos keep coming. Recently sold by MGM Resorts to JETT Gaming, Gold Strike Hotel & Gambling Hall is beginning their property revamp with a Denny's. The 8,460-sqaure-foot restaurant will be taking over the former Bonanza Buffet, which has relocated during the build.
An estimated construction cost of $206,424 will create a new addition to the resort's limited dining scene, which includes The Gold Strike Steak House.
Self-described as "about half an hour out from the strip, in the middle of nowhere, you'll find this diamond in the rough," JETT Gaming have not released a dollar amount of how much they paid for the Gold Strike. Owned by members of the Herbst family, JETT also recently bought the Searchlight Nugget, with plans to upgrade their dining options.
Denny's operates 24 diners locally, including the remodeled Strip site at the Best Western Plus Casino Royale resort, repeatedly touted as the No. 1 cash generating Denny's across their entire chain of 1,700 plus restaurants.
