Brandon Trahan's authentic Southern Louisiana recipes are now being served inside the brand new Zydeco Po-Boys. Located in the same Sears building that hosts Glutton and VegeNation, the restaurant features exposed concrete floors and brick walls and table tops made from doors, plus a casual menu of Cajun-inspired classics.

The menu concentrates on po-boys filled with turkey, shrimp, catfish, ham and "debris" or the $10.50 special made with turkey, ham and brisket. All sandwiches come dressed with lettuce, tomato, Swiss, provolone and mayo, jalapeno mayo or Cajun mustard.

Also available, Cajun fries, onion rings and potato salad, chicken and sausage or vegan gumbo, plus red beans and rice. For the thirsty, they've created "blue bayou" and "gator bite" daiquiris. Still in a soft mode, the regular opening hours have yet to be officially set in stone.
