The 24-hour India Masala, once inside the now-shuttered Riviera, has considerably upgraded its surroundings by moving into the Fashion Show mall. The 900-square-foot space takes over from a vacant Jac & Ray sandwich joint and sits next to another recent addition, Villa Italian Kitchen.
No longer open around the clock, India Masala is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. They offer small bites like samosas, main entrees including tandoori chicken, a range of curries and biryani and a selection of vegetarian dishes. South Indian inspired dosas are also on the menu.
Still to come as part of the huge makeover to the Fashion Show plaza, five new restaurants, three with full-service with outdoor dining terraces and two "bistro-sized venues" with outdoor patios. A Kona Grill and the elevated Cloud Bar are confirmed to be part of the project set to be finished by winter.
