Want to get to know culinary personality and chef Ben Vaughn’s vision of Southern fare? He takes over Natalie Young’s Eat for a culinary journey to the deep South on July 10.

His Southern Celebration Pop-Up Dinner features a multi-course Southern dinner featuring his modern takes on traditional Southern dishes.

Vaughn, who just launched his food truck Southern Kitchen, is joined in the kitchen by his executive chef John Courtney.

"I'm excited to serve as a culinary ambassador for Southern food here in Las Vegas," Vaughn says in a press statement. "Southern cuisine is a passion of mine, and between the fresh ingredients, accessibility of the fare and deep-rooted heritage of the recipes, there's really nothing that compares to it. As a chef, I am afforded the unique ability to share my passion and expression with friends, family and anyone who loves a great meal.”

The $50 dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the Southern Kitchen website: sokitchenlv.com.
